LineSaver® Service Line Protection Program

American Water's Service Line Protection Program are available under the LineSaver® brand to municipalities that have self-operated systems or participate in a public private partnership. Through American Water Resources, Inc*, municipalities can offer homeowners an affordable solution for expensive interior and exterior service line emergency repairs, while earning an income opportunity to be used for infrastructure improvements or other community enhancements. The public partner makes no capital investment – homeowners pay a modest fee for the service. There are also no budget or tax increases for the municipality because LineSaver customer service representatives work directly with the homeowner – from enrollment through claims processing – taking the workload off officials and utility managers. Our experts customize LineSaver to meet the resource, fiscal, and operational needs of municipalities. The LineSaver® line of products offers the opportunity to enhance the image of your community by providing a valuable service to homeowners and securing an income opportunity for your city or town.
